<title>Project Report on WEARABLE GADGET FOR NAVIGATION OF BLIND PEOPLE</title>

<description>Project Report on WEARABLE GADGET FOR NAVIGATION OF BLIND PEOPLE

ABSTRACT&#13;
Technological advancements have given way to the investment of various assistive features for the&#13;
blind. Even though the blinds are not completely incapable without these features, many of these have&#13;
proven to make their lives better. These include smart walking sticks, smart shoes, smart glasses, etc.&#13;
which commonly incorporates Ultrasonic or IR sensors for obstacle detection. A wearable gadget can&#13;
be hooked to the clothing or belt buckle or even a walking stick. This helps to identify the obstacles&#13;
and to measure the distance of the same from the user. This data can be manipulated to generate voice&#13;
commands with the help of Google assistant that are passed on to the user through his/her smart phone.&#13;
Raspberry Pi with a Pi camera is used for obstacle identification which is programmed on Python&#13;
platform. A Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR) sensor uses pulse laser to measure the distance of&#13;
obstacles from the user. This measured distance gives an idea about the closeness of an obstacle to a&#13;
blind person. Voice alerts are generated if the distance between obstacle and user is very small, so as to&#13;
avoid collision with obstacle. Navigation and directions through voice commands is introduced using&#13;
Navit and eSpeak. The eSpeak speech synthesizer is also used to provide voice commands regarding&#13;
the information of obstacle. Google Assistant is used to automate the process and let the blind person&#13;
communicate with the device for tasks such as begin a navigation, set destination and every tasks that&#13;
Google assistant can perform.

<title>WATER CONSUMPTION CONTROL SYSTEM : A PROJECT REPORT</title>

<description>WATER CONSUMPTION CONTROL SYSTEM : A PROJECT REPORT

ABSTRACT&#13;
Water is essential for survival of living things in earth. Human being use clean&#13;
water to drink, grow crops for food and many other domestic purposes. Thus water&#13;
conservation has to be a part of human life. Objective of this project is to reduce the water&#13;
wastage in houses through all domestic purpose, by using Instrumentation technologies&#13;
and the monitoring system uses daily life device like laptop or mobile phone. A Smart&#13;
Water consumption control and monitoring method is the efficient method for providing a&#13;
better water management process for the society. The method must be user-friendly and&#13;
should easy access for the people to know about their resource availability and its proper&#13;
usage. So by continues monitoring of water level from the resource will give an idea that&#13;
how many days more users could use water which is available in the open-well or bore-&#13;
well. Attaining the water level from the source it provides a control valve at the outlet of&#13;
house-top tank which will be operated by the control action provided by the actuator&#13;
according to the water level present in the source which is already assigned by user.&#13;
Arduino is easier to access and more user-friendly for common people, more than that the&#13;
system operation will be easier. Automatic water tank filling and dry pump protection is&#13;
also an essential part of this system for smooth availability of water for all household&#13;
works.

<description>Project Report on SURFACE ELECTROMYOGRAPHY BASED PROSTHETIC LIMB

ABSTRACT&#13;
Prosthetic is a branch of biomedical engineering that deals with missing human body parts&#13;
with synthetic one. Further, the work carried out is related to feature extraction and&#13;
classification of EMG signals obtained from biceps and below elbow position. The sEMG&#13;
signals are obtained for different cases: Grasping and lifting, picking with different weight&#13;
combinations. The sEMG signal is mainly obtained from the surface of the body by using&#13;
disposable electrodes. There are also issues of the birth prevalence of congenital limb&#13;
deficiency.&#13;
Disabled people with disabilities of upper arms, elbows are more difficult to behave&#13;
everyday life. The normal non-natural arm cannot be used to hold the device easily. So&#13;
our project mainly aims at development of a prosthetic arm that can help those people with&#13;
limb deficiency. It will help the disabled people to stay more comfortable The main&#13;
structure of the mechanical arm is made using 3D-Printed parts and the fingers are moved&#13;
using servo motors. The user has to train the movement of the back muscles. But with all&#13;
its less limitations this surface electromyography based prosthetic limb is a useful ideology&#13;
mainly for the disabled people.&#13;
And one of the best possible solution for helping those with disabilities on arm.

<title>Project Report On INTELLIGENT GAS STOVE</title>
<link>http://localhost:8080/xmlui/handle/123456789/415</link>
<description>Project Report On INTELLIGENT GAS STOVE
AKHIL RAJ P KHALEELULLAH M RUGMA SUDHAKARAN; DEEPA M K
ABSTRACT&#13;
An automated Gas Stove is a product that can be incorporated into the conventional&#13;
gas stove to give it the gift of automation. It uses a microcontroller, servo motors and some&#13;
sensor units. The user only needs to enter the number of intervals, the time in each interval,&#13;
and the amount of flame required in each time interval and then the complete process is then&#13;
automated. This finds great use for working individuals, households with small children,&#13;
where looking at the stove for the complete time is not a feasible option. LPG is the&#13;
commonly used source of energy for cooking in urban areas. In the present LPG system there&#13;
are several disadvantages like most of the energy gets wasted when flame capacity is lesser&#13;
than the specified BTU due to various reasons like clogging or blockage in proper air supply.&#13;
Leakage of gas can’t be identified is another problem with current LPG cooking system and&#13;
also we don't have an option to set the ON period of the stove so that we can do other works&#13;
during the cooking process. Overcook or undercook of food is an unavoidable problem faced&#13;
by the user and also we are least known about remaining amount of gas present in the&#13;
cylinder. An intelligent gas stove is a project to rectify all the problems mentioned above and&#13;
it also includes an additional feature of automatic booking the next LPG Cylinder when the&#13;
current cylinder is near to exhaustion.
