dc.description.abstract ABSTRACT Neuromuscular disorders are that encompasses a large number of diseases with different presentation. There neuromuscular clinical conditions such as fatigue, myopathy, neuropathy that affect living organisms. MRI, muscle biopsy and electromyography (EMG) are generally used to investigate it. In this work a method to analyze neuromuscular conditions using surface EMG (sEMG) signal is proposed. sEMG signals will be recorded from subjects affected by neuromuscular conditions. Also signal from normal subject will also be recorded. Recorded signals will be processed and analyzed using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and associated peripherals. FPGA will be programmed using VHDL. The proposed device can be handled easily and also it is going to be portable one too. en_US
